The purpose of this department is to prepare and train students to work as teachers in secondary schools and to promote research on the theories and practice of physical education. Our program emphasizes both the theories that are essential to teaching P.E. and physical skills that correspond to what the theories offer.
In addition to becoming secondary P.E. teachers, our graduates play leading roles in various related fields including universities, sport for all, training programs for national and international competitions, and the science of physical education.
