The Social Studies Education Division comprises three departments : Sociology Education, History Education, and Geography Education. These departments provide enhanced perspectives in social studies by connecting the principles of sociology, history and geography. Thus, the division aims to prepare students to gain expertise and skills in the three fields to become competent teachers of social studies.
In addition, with the support from our newly established Extradisciplinary programs, the teacher training program provides an opportunity for students to obtain knowledge in a wide variety of related studies including history, environmental studies, economics, sociology, and humanities which are essential to human development. |
